"The Elixir of Life... with Sprinkles"

So is this strategy all about eating tiny rainbow candies??
Uh... I'm sorry, but no. It's just a metaphor.
The concept began with the understanding that where we find ourselves in life is determined by a series of choices. To arrive at a place of strong health requires years of tiny decisions adding up to feeling better, looking better, perhaps even living longer. There is no ONE healthy way, but rather a collage, based on the individual. Each little piece you add creates the picture; these are your sprinkles.
Whatever you choose to sprinkle in throughout your day does matter, even if it's something small.
If you sprinkle in a walk in the sunshine after lunch most days, that equates to better glycemic response, increased muscle tone, increased vitamin D, reduced stress response and probably even improved quality of sleep down the line. And that's only one sprinkle. Perhaps you also begin to sprinkle in higher protein breakfasts more regularly? You might find your energy improved throughout the day, your blood sugar is better controlled, your focus improved, and your overall capacity to choose healthier sprinkles increases simply because you are satiated longer (and thus not driven to snacking from the office vending machine!).
Perhaps you also sprinkle in water instead of soda, organic instead of pesticide-laden, and avoiding electronic devices after sunset (or at least wearing your blue light blocking glasses). Just a few sprinkles... that will add up over time. And possibly be the difference between a medical diagnosis ten years down the line. Or not.
Changing those little details might take effort at first, but pretty soon they seamlessly become part of the fabric of your day.
So I guess the only question now is...
What will you sprinkle in next?
